Public Records Requests

A.R.S. 39-121.03 states that any person may submit a request to examine or be furnished with copies of public records and that the responding agency shall promptly respond to such requests. The time it takes to respond to your request will depend on the complexity of the request, the volume of responsive documents, and other factors. Under Arizona Public Records Law, public agencies are not required to create new documents to respond to a request.
