Public Participation Plan 

This document guides the public involvement activities conducted by the Flagstaff Metropolitan Planning Organization (MetroPlan). The purpose of public participation is to ensure a proactive process affording the opportunity for the public to be involved in all phases of the multi-modal transportation planning process by providing complete information, timely public notice, sufficient periods for comment, full access to key decision points, and early and continuing engagement in developing transportation plans and programs.

Regular meetings and work sessions are open to the public. Persons with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation by contacting the MetroPlan Office via email at planning@metroplanflg.org.  MetroPlan complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to involve and assist underrepresented and underserved populations (age, gender, color, income status, race, national origin and LEP – Limited English Proficiency.) Requests should be made by contacting MetroPlan at 928-266-1293 as early as possible to allow time to arrange the accommodation.
